Julie hails from Victoria, British Columbia and grew up in a family of magicians. Her father, Tony Eng, was the premier magical entertainer on Canada’s West Coast. Julie moved to Toronto to join The Conjuror, Patrick Watson and DavidBen’s critically acclaimed theatrical presentation of magic from the Golden Age staged at the Royal Ontario Museum and the Shaw Festival. JAMES ALAN

James Alan has been a professional magician since the age of 21, specializing in close-up magic. He takes particular delight in sharing magic with audiences in this intimate arena. When not performing, James works to help organize and implement many of Magicana’s performances and programs including My Magic Hands. JEFF HINCHLIFFE

One of Toronto’s leading young performers, Jeff excels in close-up magic. He delivers a highly interactive and intimate performance with everyday objects right before your eyes. Jeff is also an experience teacher in magic, having worked several times with My Magic Hands, Magicana’s children’s community outreach program. Jeff is a featured performer for STROLLING SORCERY.

JAMES HARRISON

James honed his sleight of hand craft while recuperating from a serious knee injury. Now James is one of the city’s busy practitioners of close-up magic. Under the cover of entertaining and engaging magic, James “borrows” pens, watches, wallets and more from members of his audience.
